Summary

Hut circle of 7.4 metres diameter with walls 1.5 metres wide by up to 1.1. metres high within the southern part of the settlement to the south-west of Littaford Tors. The largest hut in the settlement opening onto its own enclosure to the east.

Visited in 2002. Stone hut circle 560 metres south-south-west of Longaford Tor, forming part of a prehistoric settlement on the western slopes of Longaford and Littaford Tors. Hut of 7.4 metres diameter with double orthostat wall 1.5 metres wide by up to 1.1. metres high. A 180 degree facing gap, faced on the east side by a large orthostat represents a doorway which leads into a courtyard area. A fine hut but with some animal poaching within the doorway. Grass, rushes and gorse.

Hut circle '1' of 6.8 metres diameter is much larger and more substantially built than the other hut circles. The hut opens into its own private enclosure to the east and has a jamb still standing at the entrance.
