Des=reed, s. J. /archaeological recording at land off pinn lane, exeter/(feb 2003)/ea report no.03.05/in smr.


Reed, S. J., Untitled Source (Report - Survey). SDV80293.

Vis=-/6/2002 (reed) linear feature 3m in width and 0.34m deep uncovered in arable field situated south of old 'sand pit'-crf:sx99se/135. Probably represents a hollow way. Not shown on any cartographic sources so may suggest that this feature dates from medieval or early post-medieval period. Copper alloy token found in fill identified as a 15th c french jetton. Additional shallow linear feature uncovered to the south of hollow way, probably a ploughed out ditch. No finds in fill (reed).
