Full description
Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP 157282 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.
Site visited on 9th May 2002. Structure 290 metres south-south-east of Eylesbarrow, forming part of Eylesbarrow Tin Mine. At northern end of north to south gully associated with Shaft 19 Is a 2 metre long drystone wall standing 0.7 metres high. The largest stone in this wall has a 9 centimetre diameter and 10 ccentimetre deep circular hole cut into its lower face. The interior of this hole is smooth. A further length of wall leads from the west end towards the dump from Shaft 19, which it merges into. A length of the wall has been destroyed by the adjacent track.
