Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1978, SX68SE99 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV245762.

(09/02/1978) SX 66318477 On a south-west facing slope at approximately 404.0m above sea level is the remains of a hut circle, apparently partially destroyed by peat cutting. It is at a field junction (see SX 68 NE 66) and is much smaller than the other huts (see SX 68 SE 84, 85, 94 and 99) which are free standing. The internal diameter of the hut is 3.0m with walling 1.2m thick and 0.2m high.
Surveyed at 1:2500 on AM.

(06/01/1992) SX 66348478. A disturbed hut circle on the gently sloping SW flank of Thornworthy Down 360m SSW of Thornworthy Tor.
This sub-rectangular feature lies in the angle formed by the junction of two reaves and measures approximately 3.1m in internal diameter. The enclosing walls are poorly preserved but average 1.0m wide and 0.25m high. There is no obvious entrance.

Hut circle of between 4.5 to 7.5 metres diameter at the junction of two boundaries on the east side of the 'Thornworthy Tor South' settlement.
