Full description

Ordnance Survey, 1880s, Ordnance Survey (Cartographic). SDV848.

Site of a rectangular building shown on Ordnance Survey 25 inch map to the northeast of Batten's Farm on the north side of a curvilinear enclosure with a further building to the southwest.


Clarke, K., 2003, Two Spring-fed mills in Clayhidon; earthwork remains of spring cuttings, leats and ponds (Website). SDV341951.

Tithe aportionment names building as Jobe's House and yard, small holding. Earthworks support interpretation as a Post Medieval house and gardens.
