Summary
The 1880s-1890s historic map marks the section of the A3052 to the west of Bowd as a Roman road. However, it is not marked as such at this particular location on the 1904-1906 map and it is generally considered that the line of the Roman road followed Greenway Lane, bypassing Bowd.
