Weston Farm is to be associated with John de Westone, recorded in 1307. On OS map of 1890 Weston House is marked to the south of the road (approximate site of present Lower Weston Farm), Higher and Lower Weston lay to north of the road and Leighs Weston to the west of the road (present Leighs Farm). n the Tithe Map a plot immediately to west of current Lower Weston Farm is marked 'Ruins' (Tithe Apportionment 50).
