Full description

M + E plinth of permanent brick construction in good condition. Metal bolts are set in the concrete floor. Broken glass in wall capping. Other details: Site 53.
ACE Archaeology Club, 2008, Winkleigh Airfield, 12-13 (Report - Survey). SDV359876.
These buildings contained relays and electrical equipment. Constructed of brick, the walls topped with concrete imbedded with broken glass. No windows. Structurally sound although the doors are generally missing. Steel bolts still embedded in the concrete floor which secured the generators. See report for details of individual buildings.
