Machine Gunnery Test Butt of brick and earth construction. In very good condition. Test butt comprises four bays with some earth remaining. There are two small buildings adjacent which look contemporary, but are not marked on the AM plan.

The building shown on the 2010 MasterMap appears to be slightly north of the building shown on the 1946 aerial photography. It abuts the site of the building at the southern end of the firing range (Monument 67791), whereas the 1946 phography shows a gap of approximately 5 metres.
