Full description
Davies, B. + Egan, L. + Jebson, T. + Turner, B., 2000, Hulks of the Salcombe-Kingsbridge Estuary, 20-21 (Report - Survey). SDV325626.
The 'Rose of Devon', built by John Hartley at Wivernhoe, Exeter in 1869. Built as a schooner but converted to a yawl in 1871 and lengthened by 4ft in 1891. Ended up in Salcombe as a houseboat until she sank and was dragged to where she now lies.
