Summary

There is evidence for eleven medieval stone figure sculptures on 'all saint's' church at kenton. The four evangelists are represented at the corners of the parapet. Three figures were located lower down on the west, south & east elevations of the tower & three other figures were located on the parapet of the porch with one above the main door. The four surviving evangelist figures of matthew, mark, luke & john were conserved in 1994 (blaylock).
