Possible barrow site shown to the north of the road on os 2" surveyors drawing made in 1803-7. Unlike other barrows in the area this one is not named & does not appear on the subsequent os 1" map. The field name of 'lower breach' appears on the 1841 tithe map apportionment merely indicating newly broken ground (ea).
