Former field boundary shown on 19th century map enclosing a wooded area around the north and west sides of the field.
Oxford Archaeotechnics Ltd, 1997, Deepmoor Landfill Extension, Great Torrington, 10 (Report - Geophysical Survey). SDV339166.
Site of a former field boundary revealed during a geophysical survey in 1997 prior to the extension to 'Deepmoor Landfill' site. The boundary ran northwest to southeast and appeared as a bank with a double ditch.
