Full description
Exeter Archaeology, 2003, Archaeological Assessment of Little Bickington Farm, Higher Bickington, 5, figs 2, 4 (Report - Assessment). SDV9530.
A field to the southeast of Little Bickington was called 'Loggers Close' on the 1840 Tithe Map apportionment. In the medieval period the manor of Bickington was divided into Bukyngton Loges and Bukyngton Clavyle. The Loggers field name may be derived from Loges and thus associating Little Bickington with this manor.
