Full description
English Heritage, 1989, High Bickington (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV336851.
Homewell Cottage. Probably early 18th century. Rendered cob on stone rubble plinth. Wheatstraw thatched roof, half-hipped to right. Rendered stone end stack with red-brick top stage.
Plan: Two-room central-entrance plan, sited at right angles to the road (facing south).
Exterior: Symmetrical two-window 19th century two-light wooden casements in old openings. Central entrance with 19th century plank door and late 20th century porch.
