A shallow tin openwork and a cluster of tin pits, 430 metres west of Deadlake tin streamwork. The openwork consists of a slightly serpentine, linear gully oriented approximately north to south. It is 150 metres long and up to 18 metres wide and 2.0 metres deep. The tin pits are 37 metres to the west. The conical pits are on average 1.0 - 3.0 metres in diameter and up to 1.0 metre deep. Each has a small crescentic spoil heap on the lower side. The evidence is all likely to be for tin prospecting, dating from the medieval or post-medieval period.
