Full description

Jenkinson, T., 2003 - 2010, Totnes to Chudleigh A381/B3193 (Report - Survey). SDV347804.

Site visit 9th September 2003. Boundary stone dated to circa 1822 situated opposite Mackerel Almshouses, by wall on pavement on west side of road. Small, worn granite stone inscribed 'TB' (Totnes Borough) on the left hand face and 'NB' (Newton Bushel) on the right. There is also an Ordnance Survey benchmark on the right hand face.
