Milestone marked, 'M.S Newton Abbot 3.

Site visit 25th November 2003. The B3195 from Newton Abbot to Shaldon is a narrow 6 mile route maintained at one time by the Newton Bushel Turnpike Trust. All the surviving milestones on this route show mileage from Newton.

Site visit 4th June 2021. Early 19th century milestone on the former B3195, a narrow 6 mile route between Newton Abbot and Shaldon. The stone is located against the wall on the south side of the road opposite Dodbrook Cottages. Its painted legend reads 'From/Newton/3/Miles'. The left hand edge of the stone is chipped.
