King appears to have sketched the form of this possible earthwork (? meaning enclosure?) on the smr base map. On the 1946 raf aps nothing fitting sketch or description can be seen, although one field boundary (subsequently removed) is visible, plus the ? soilmark traces of two other, smaller, fields or enclosures (fmg).

(13/12/1971) SX676936. Prehistoric earthwork seen as a cropmark in the field immediately north of Rose Cottage, Linton Cross. It is a low earth bank 110m long and 70m wide, and has been truncated by a road.
