At SX 6570 9087. Stone hut circle forming part of a prehistoric settlement within a coaxial field system on Throwleigh Common. Diameter 6.7 metres. Single orthostat wall 1.6 metres wide, 0.8 metres high. Internal area 35.23 metres. Door faces 145 degrees and is lined on south-west.

The hut is built into a corner where two sections of reave connect. An additional short section of wall places the hut into a small enclosure of approximately 20 metres by 8 metres. A fine circle of stones survives which represents the inner face of the hut and has an internal diameter of 7.8 metres. There is some evidence of the outer face in situ and the thickness may have been 1.2 metres. The highest section of wall stands to 0.5 metres. The hut has a level interior containing some tumbled stone.

Site visited 4/07/2017 and plotted using GPS (SX65695 90851). Not as densely vegetated as surrounding area. Centre of hut circle was easily visible. Situated on prehistoric street of circles.
