Vis=11/8/2004 (marcus batty) the field lies above starehole bottom. Observation of the field contours could suggest that within it lie two lynchets running w to ne for a third to a half of the field length and a number of flat areas/platforms breaking the natural slope, two between the earthwork known as giant's grave and the track between the gates in the west and east walls of the field, a third further east and one at the west end just below the track just referred to (batty).
