Full description
Exeter Archaeology, 2003, East Devon Heathlands Archaeological Survey, 12, Part 2: Gazetteer, Site No. 44 (Report - Survey). SDV101648.
Section of hedgebank surmounted by tree stumps runs east-southeast- west-southwest along northeast side of trackway to northeast of Harpford Hill Plantation. Bank measures 3 metres wide by 1 metre high. Looks like part of former boundary, although not shown on modern Ordnance Survey 1:25000 map or Ordnance Survey 1890 1:10560 map (Sheet 81SE) or Harpford Tithe map (1839). ? Perhaps formed earlier northern edge of Harpford Hill Plantation immediately to the south.
