Bank aligned northwest-southeast, circa 4 metres wide by up to 0.5 metres high by maximum of circa 20 metres long. Feature ill-defined and covered with tussocky grass and gorse. Situated on north-eastern hill slope. No boundary or other features depicted in this area on Ordnance Survey 1890 1:10560 map (Sheet81SE) or Harpford Tithe map (1839).
Note added to the text; ‘following visit with RSPB warden, T. Taylor, 25/09/2003, we know that this is a newly created feature following scraping in area- rhizome ‘bank’ was created’.
