Summary

Long narrow area of c18 openwork extending east to west from sx44057205 to sx43957206 exploiting an ‘unmaned lode’. The survey in 2003 found outcrop workings 8m wide across its spoil heaps which were 3-4m high x 3-4m wide. The floor of the openwork was 2m wide x c5m below ground level with pits 2m – 5m apart (buck).
