A small isolated chimney stack possibly shown on os (1904) & later maps may not be related to mining activities. The survey in 2003 found the stone stack 4.7m tall was part of a rectangular building which may have been timber framed supported by a low wall. A fireplace at ground level has an opening 0.75m wide x 0.5m high with a small brick lintel (buck).
