Summary

Site of a possible shaft & spoil heap probably dating from the last phase of the mine in the late c19. The survey in 2003 found a circular depression 2.2m diameter x 1.2m deep cut into the large spoil heap covering the valley floor. A large flat working area 15m x 10m was found to the east & two finger dumps on top of the spoil heaps to the west (buck).
