In a field outside the north-western edge of the common the Tithe Map/Apportionment show a house with garden and orchard (plot 1512). The house lay within a small enclosure on the eastern edge of the trackway which leads to Higher Wyke. On the Ordnance Survey 1891 map (1:10560 Sheet 72SW) a small building (probably non-domestic) is shown further to the south on the eastern edge of the trackway (grid reference 30558 96100). The buildings are not shown on the modern Ordnance Survey 1:2500 map.
