One of four rectangular features shown on DCC1946 aerial photograph on north edge of World War Two camp (see site 69), and south end of rifle range (see sites 75–77). Features consist of rectangular slightly sunken area delimited by substantial earthen banks. Areas may have contained buildings, perhaps magazines associated with rifle range, with surrounding banks as blast ‘walls’. Feature aligned north-east/south-west, measures 30 metres north-east/south-west by 13.5 metres north-west/south-east (interior). Banks up to 2 metres high from interior of feature, 0.5 metre high exterior by 2–3 metres wide. Brick steps in centre of south-east bank. Interior fairly open, containing grass, some gorse and pine trees; gorse on banks.

Path runs north-south through the feature. On route of path there is recent wear to south bank, section of north bank already removed/worn.

Advise military of significance of feature to avert damage as area used for training activities. Good candidate for interpretation of World War Two features.
