Exeter Archaeology, 2003, East Devon Heathlands Archaeological Survey, 32-33, Part 2: Gazetteer, Site No. 107 (Report - Survey). SDV101648.

Double bank runs northeast-southwest some 4 metres to northwest of existing trackway. Overall width 4.3 metres, circa 0.5 metre high, with shallow depression 0.3 metres deep between banks. Ditch 1–2 metres wide on northwest side. Southwest end traced to grid reference SY 03922 84401 where it appears to end, or has been disturbed by existing trackway. Northeast end traced to grid reference SY 04020 84490 where it seems to peter out. No boundaries are depicted in this position on the Ordnance Survey 1891 1:10560 map (Sheet 93SE) or the East Budleigh Tithe Map (circa1845). The southwest part of the present trackway is shown on the 1891 map; however, the northeast part is on a new alignment.
