Full description
Exeter Archaeology, 2003, East Devon Heathlands Archaeological Survey, 8, Part 1; 34, Part 2: Gazetteer, Site No. 112 (Report - Survey). SDV101648.
Disused trackway aligned northwest-southeast to east of current trackway, now exists as overgrown hollow way 1–2 metres wide, up to 1 metre deep. Southeast end joins current track at grid reference SY 04321 83888, northwest end joins current track at grid reference SY 04123 84118. Probably represents part of a path depicted on Ordnance Survey 1891 map which ran northwest across the commons from settlement of Dalditch. Not shown on East Budleigh Tithe Map (circa 1845) but likely to have existed at this date and probably much earlier.
