The Tithe Map and Ordnance Survey 1891 1:10560 map show ‘Golden Well’ marked on the parish boundary with Withycombe Raleigh. No feature was located during the field survey. The well would presumably have served a dwelling in the vicinity, however, its whereabouts is unknown.
