The present Ladysmith Schools were designed by Percy Morris & built in 1908. They consisted of a large two storey building with a separate single storey infants school. The infants school was destroyed in 1942 bombing but was partially rebuilt. The central elevation is broken by three gables & surmounted by a ventilator in the form of a cupola. The original iron railings surrounding the site survive. Other details: Fig 28.
