Bradley Road Schools were established in 1932 to serve the Burnthouse Lane Estate and originally accommodated all age groups. The mostly single storey brick buildings were designed by John Bennett around two small rectangular courts. Most of the roofs are flat with some pitched in slate. The buildings incorporate classical archways and the entrance gate and railings have brick piers surmounted by openwork iron obelisks. In 2004 the school was scheduled for demolition and rebuilding. Other details: Fig 33.
