Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880s, Ordnance Survey, OS 25" (Cartographic). SDV848.
The line of the former boundary between Halwill & Beaworthy Parishes is shown on OS 25" (1880s) map running north from Halwill Junction at SS44450003 to the road junction at SS44440074. The line is marked by seven 'Beech' trees & an isolated 'Oak' tree.

The line of the parish boundary was marked by trees in 1891 & 1907 & ran between the barrows sited here. The alignment of the road north from Halwill Junction formerly followed the parish boundary & was moved westward sometime in the late 19C. The Beaworthy Tithe Map shows a lane or track on the line of the parish boundary in this area.
