Exeter Archaeology, 2002, Archaeological Assessment of Tottiford to Newton Abbot Trunk Main, 8 (Report - Assessment). SDV281233.

'Shameface Lane' is a minor road running southeast from 'Five Lanes' to 'Huish Cross' which marked the boundary between Hennock & Bovey Tracey Parishes until 1885. The lane is a steep & eroded hollow way with the flanking hedgebanks occasionally revetted with stone.
