Full description
Pye, A., 2004, 10 Hamilton Road, Topsham: Watching Brief (Report - Watching Brief). SDV320032.
Archaeological recording in 2003 recovered a buried soil containing a sherd of Central Gaulish 2nd century Samian ware. Further Roman material recovered from the spoil heaps comprised a sherd of Black Burnished ware, three fragments of crucible/refractory type material, one possile roof tile fragment and a sherd of fine ware, possibly a flagon, of 1st/2nd century date.
Archaeological recording in 2004 observed no deposits or find.
