Full description
French, K. + French, C., 1957, Devonshire Plasterwork, 126, 131 (Article in Serial). SDV4676.
Single rib plasterwork of very early period, 1560-1570.
Andrews, J. H. B., 1962, Chittlehampton, 324 (Article in Serial). SDV82648.
Higher Biddacot, farmstead. House has panelling in the kitchen and some fine plasterwork in one bedroom.
Department of Environment, 1964, South Molton Rural District, 14 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV320155.
Early 17th century and later. Rubble with cob and rubble stacks, one lateral. Doorway has square framed wood moulded surround. Open fireplace in hall, and early 16th century linenfold panelling. Round headed wood doorway to kitchen. Moulded plaster ceiling on first floor.
