A survey of the buildings at Charlestown Barton was undertaken in 2003 prior to development. A cartshed on the south side of the yard was of stone rubble extending south at a lower level with a privy attached to the southeast corner. The right hand side has been truncated probably to give access for tractors to the yard. Map object based on this source.
