Boat shelter constructed in 1936, comprising battered limestone walling, largely achieved with voluntary labour. It comprises an east-west aligned pier and a north-south aligned mole. According to one account it replaced an earlier structure that became ruinous in 1912, but this has not been located on earlier maps. Later works include the lengthening of the south wall eastwards, capping of the south wall in concrete, and in infilling of the eastern end of the harbour to create a raised dry mooring area.
