Full description
Exeter Archaeology, 2003, Archaeological Assessment of Proposed Lympstone Tidal Defence Scheme (Report - Assessment). SDV321330.
Possible site of medieval flood defence. The 1525 reference to ‘the grene beside the sea bank’ is suggestive of some form of sea defence, although it possibly referred to a natural feature.
