A shallow ditch, aligned E-W, with a maximum width of 0.72m and a maximum depth of 0.28m, was identified during an evaluation of the proposed North Tawton to Whiddon Down 33kv underground cable route. It had a broad u-shaped profile and had been re-cut. No artefacts were recovered during excavation.
