A posthole was identified during an evaluation of the proposed North Tawton to Whiddon Down 33kv underground cable route. It was sub-circular in plan, measuring c0.38m x 0.32m, with abrupt edges and a concave base, and a maximum depth of 0.18m. No artefacts were recovered during excavation.
