Full description
Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 52-3+fig 13,38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.
The 1867 Wheal Maria mine map shows a rectangular sub-divided reservoir c75m long x c10m wide which may have been used to settle contaminated water from the adits or foundry. The survey found a profile of banks resembling those shown on the OS (1884) map. Other details: Sites 25.
