Culvert located c10m northwest of Morris's Engine House (see PRN 71305) & supplied underground by either the leat running east of Morris's shaft or the reservoir (see PRN 71302). The watercourse was not shown on either the 1867 or 1884 maps. The culvert was found during survey to be an ornately built granite water culvert portal with a 0.9m wide x 1.5m high opening with timber uprights & roofing. The watercourse to the dressing floor to the west ran through the spoil heaps from Morris's Shaft & had collapsed in many places. Other details: Sites 43.
