Full description

Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 75-76+ Fig 38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.

Site of a shaft at Wheal Fanny mine not shown on the 19C maps with an adit to the south at SX42017374. The survey found a depression 6m x 5m x 0.5m deep with a low spoil heap to the south of the shaft & the adit lobby to the south was found to be 12m long with a 1m wide x 1.2m deep portal. Other details: Sites 74 & 75.
