Full description
Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 86+ Fig 38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.
Adit visible in the grounds of Weir Cottage not shown on the 19C maps. To the east of the adit along the same lode are a series of lode back pits & linear earthworks probably worked in the 18C. The adit portal is in an area of quarried ground with an opening c1.8m wide x c1.75m deep. Other details: Site 99.
