Large reservoir pond to the north of Wheal Anna Maria mine first shown on the 1867 map with a sluice at SX42487375 & an adit draining into the pond at SX42537371. The pond appears to have been a settling pond for contaminants from the adit. It was fed by a leat from Hele Farm to the northeast. The wide leat emerging from the reservoir joined another leat (see PRN 71337). The timber-lined adit portal draining into the reservoir was found during the survey to be 0.45m wide x 0.6m deep & the outlet sluice was found to be extant & functioning.
