Full description
Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 96-97+ Figs 15, 38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.
A collapsed shallow air shaft was found during the survey to have an opening 1m wide x 0.6m long & was visible to a depth of 2m. 'Adit Shaft' shown on 1848 map at SX42557368 but not shown on other 19C maps was not located during the survey. Other details: Sites 114 & 115.
