Full description

Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 107-109+Figs 15,38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.

Transport at Wheal Anna Maria mine consisted of a railway to the dressing floors & waste tips. 19C maps show lines from SX42667354 to the dressing floor at SX42597330, from SX42677355 to SX42627345 & from SX42607340 to a waste dump at SX42717342. The survey found remnants of the lines & a dry stone retaining wall . A railway siding at SX42637352 had been obscured by two spoil heaps. Other details: Sites 138,138/1,138/2,138/3.
