Full description
Buck, C., 2002, Devon Great Consols: Archaeological Assessment, 112+Figs 15,38 (Report - Assessment). SDV241758.
Pair of cottages with a walled garden to the north shown on 19C maps which were either dwellings or offices. The survey found cottages with a roof of 'A' frame trusses & chimneys on each gable end. The western end was slated & the eastern covered with corrugated iron. The southern cottage had a brick floor & both had been reused for other purposes since the mine closed. Other details: Site 144.
